To reduce emissions and meet international environmental standards, Bardahl Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) has been developed. It removes soot from the exhaust gases of diesel engines. Soot is caused by the incomplete combustion of the diesel fuel. A problem with the particulate filter arises as soon as ash and contamination accumulate in the particulate filter and eventually clog the pores.
