Calculation example: a more expensive fuel or a Bardahl fuel cleaner?
Premium fuels
Shell V-Power, Total Excellium, BP Ultimate are fuels that all contain powerful cleaning agents. These substances (additives) partly prevent the formation of deposits, which reduces the reaction capacity. In addition, existing deposits are partly removed and engines run smoother. However, these 'premium' fuels are considerably more expensive than the normal euro 95 fuel.
Bardahl has a range of fuel cleaners that also do the above; clean, protect and lubricate. In addition, a clean engine ensures better performance and the engine is more economical with fuel. In other words: lower fuel consumption and that is good for the wallet!
REFUEL A MORE EXPENSIVE FUEL OR A FUEL ADDITION OF BARDAHL FOR THE SAME EFFECT?
A Shell V-Power, BP Ultimate, Total Excellium etc. cost about 14 cents extra per liter. Bardahl recommends using a bottle of Bardahl petrol cleaner/ diesel cleaner every 5,000 - 10,000 kilometres, depending on the type of kilometres you drive (many city kilometres or only motorway kilometres).
SUPPOSITION:
The average fuel consumption is 1 liter per 12 kilometers and we take 7500 kilometers as a starting point.
MORE EXPENSIVE FUEL SUCH AS SHELL V-POWER, BP ULTIMATE, TOTAL EXCELLIUM
At 7500 kilometers you will lose extra: (7500 km/12 km/ltr )*0.14 cents extra for example V-Power or Ultimate = 87.50 euros per year.
FUEL ADDITION OF BARDAHL
If you put a can of Bardahl fuel addition (petrol or diesel) in the tank every 7500 kilometers, it will cost you about 17 euros. Your engine remains cleaner internally, is lubricated better, performs better and ensures better fuel consumption.
CONCLUSION
The difference between a more expensive fuel and a fuel addition from Bardahl is 60 euros per 7500 kilometers in favor of a can of Bardahl fuel cleaner. On average, a Dutch person drives 15,000 kilometers per year. Your benefit amounts to more than 120 euros per year!
